We visited here as a homeschool field trip and it was not only educational, but fun! The kids first learned about Sheep, and then were taken out onto the farm where they got to see firsthand all of the animals, as well as the garden. We had the joy of attending a field trip at Ewe on the Farm. Carly and her husband did an amazing job of presenting information to the students in a fun and engaging way. The kids loved holding chicks, feeding chickens, petting sheep, picking from the garden and learning about the bee hives. We had such a wonderful experience visiting this farm for our homeschool field trip! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully planned. The owner was incredibly kind and intentional with the way she interacted with both the kids and the parents. You can truly tell she cares deeply about what she does.The kids had a great time learning, exploring, and being hands-on. Our stay at the farm was so much more than just comfortable! We were in the area working, and the camper was way more roomy  than a motel room and so much more comfortable! Carly and Michael were the best! Our favorite part of the stay was the huge yard where I got my steps in and the sounds of their sweet family taking care of the farm!

I have had numerous occasions to visit Ewe on the Farm with my grandchildren.   Every experience was unique and educational.   We have had opportunities to play with the animals and learn the process of running a farm.  The Black family is very friendly and the facility is beautiful.

Our Church Children's Ministry has had a few events at the farm. We had a movie night. It was the perfect place to set up a movie screen and chairs and enjoy a movie in the quiet. There is an area for smores that we were able to enjoy. A perfect building with a kitchen we could use to set up our popcorn machine and hot chocolate bar. They had everything we could have ever needed. We've also had an Easter Egg Hunt there. There was plenty of room on the land to accommodate the large number of kids we had. We went here and they showed us so much. Everything is organic, healthy, renewable and compostable. They are so knowledgeable. Not only were they able to explain the processes but also the science behind it and how it all affects your body at the cellular level. Such a joy visiting this beautiful farm, everything about it I love. From the chickens, to the sheep, the pasture land, the beautiful garden. The whole layout is something to see! I highly recommend their educational workshops they host in their designated building. They have a heart to teach folks how to be more self reliant.
